Welcome to AVP INFRACON LIMITED
Roadway construction utilizes highly synchronized engineering method to convert undeveloped land into durable, smooth, and safe roads. A high level of technical precision and experienced supervision is essential at all stages of the construction of flexible pavement or concrete roadway to ensure the structural performance lasts.
As the transportation network in India is rapidly expanding, the demand for quality road infrastructure is greater than ever. AVP Infracon, one of the reputable road construction companies in India, applies strict engineering protocols in developing high-quality and long-lasting roadway systems.

In any road construction process, accurate surveying is the essential first step towards a successful project. Engineers will use advancements in technology like drone mapping and GPS systems to evaluate things like drainage patterns, traffic loads, terrain, and soil type.
Soil testing is done to determine the strength, moisture content, and suitability of the subgrade. Without proper testing, the road can settle, crack, or deform under traffic loads. This phase gives a basis for design, and assures the road will be sound, aligned, and ready for construction.
Upon completion of design, site preparation occurs through the earthwork process, which includes leveling the site, removing obstacles, and clearing out vegetation. The cutting and filling constructs the roadway formation.
The subgrade, which is the base directly underneath all layers of pavement, is compacted in order to achieve a uniform density. A sound subgrade helps avoid potholes, rutting & premature pavement distress.
Engineers also construct embankments and drainage trenches to make sure the road is not impacted by water later.
The granular sub-base (GSB) layer is applied to dissipate loads and such to protect the pavement from moisture. The GSB layer also maintains drainage capability for the road and enhances the structural strength of the roadway. The crushed aggregate (WMM) base course adds additional strength and stability to the pavement and will provide an even surface for the surfacing materials. At this point during construction, the thickness, gradation, and degree of compaction will be checked to ensure compliance with highway specifications.
Publically visible construction of the roadway occurs at the surfacing layer; concrete roadway construction is best for corridors with higher traffic volumes due to its durability; and asphalt surfacing offers flexibility and is faster to lay. Hot-mix plants produce asphalt for transportation, laying with pavers, and compaction at temperatures that are controlled (during different seasons, temperatures can be regulated; see Road Construction Overview for more information). Concrete pavements are laid with a slip-form paver to produce a smooth, seamless surface. Being experienced in building and modifying national corridors of highway routinely, AVP Infracon is one of the dependable highway construction companies, including paving of asphalt or concrete levels of roadway.

After the roadwork is complete, final work consists of cleaning, dressing of slopes, and constructing shoulders. Signs, markings, and in-road reflectors all improve safety and control driver expectations.
Depending on the road type and the kind of traffic, crash barriers, medians, and drainage features are added. These features reduce the chance of accidents and improve driver comfort.
Before the road is opened to traffic, it is subjected to load-testing, pavement-testing, and safety-checking.
Building a reliable road requires engineering expertise, quality checking, and experiential knowledge. Poor construction can lead to rapid failure, prompt additional maintenance costs, and safety concerns.
AVP Infracon abides by national and international specifications, while managing technical accuracy at all phases of its work. Our capabilities reach beyond only road works, into complex structures; this makes us experienced bridge construction company for larger infrastructure works.
AVP Infra also maintains the same experience-operating capability in the construction of elevated roadway systems and grade separators for urban mobility, as the many leaders in flyover construction companies in India.
Since its founding in 2009, AVP Infracon has developed into one of the most reputable infrastructure development companies in India. The company has finished a number of projects for NHAI, MoRTH, Tamil Nadu Highways Department, GCC, and PWD with the goal of providing top-notch engineering solutions.
Every project we take on is guided by AVP Infra’s core values, which include integrity, teamwork, accountability, and engineering excellence. Our team’s goal is to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and long-lasting infrastructure on schedule, from design to completion.
AVP Infracon continues to influence the road and highway development landscape in India with a strong dedication to innovation and quality.
We keep constructing infrastructure that fortifies India’s future while upholding the core principles of honesty, cooperation, responsibility, and quality.
The roadway construction process includes surveying the site, testing soil, preparing the subgrade, laying GSB and WMM layers, and completing the asphalt or concrete surfacing followed by safety installations.
The key stages include site surveying, earthwork, subgrade preparation, laying granular sub-base (GSB), wet mix macadam (WMM), asphalt or concrete surfacing, and installing road markings and safety features.
Asphalt roadway constructions are flexible, quicker to install, and ideal for medium-traffic roads. Concrete roadway constructions are more durable and preferred for highways and heavy-traffic corridors.
Soil testing identifies the subgrade’s strength and moisture conditions, helping engineers design a stable pavement structure and prevent issues like rutting, cracking, and settlement.
Efficient drainage protects pavement layers from water accumulation, prevents potholes and surface damage, and significantly increases the lifespan of the roadway.
